Introduction to Swarming

This one-day program is a comprehensive introduction to how decentralized networks, "micro-missions," and other small, inexpensive, yet highly effective groups work. We will recap the enabling trends and shifts that have given rise to "swarms" in businesses and NGOs, then explore in detail seven major enablers of swarms (Vision, Community, Collaboration, Openness, Adaptability, Influence, and Multiplication) as well as 30 specific competencies for creating swarms.

Upon completing this course, participants will be able to explain what swarms are, and they will discover specific ways healthy leaders naturally operate swarmishly. They will be equipped to immediately operate in a swarmish fashion as they build healthy leader development movements in their home churches and ministries, and be ready to teach the principles of swarming to others.
