God’s desire for His children is that they excel in every way (John 14:12). To that end, Jesus came to the earth to serve us (Matt. 20:20-28). He was our example of true servant leadership and true spiritual fatherhood. The godly father (and mother) gives primary attention to the building of the next generation ‒ in the home and in the church.
