Hunger - Part 1: How to Be Hungry for God: ( Stream | Download ) What is spiritual hunger? It is a vital and continual desire for God, a craving for life in Christ, and a response to tasting and seeing that the Lord is good. A hunger for God is created when we take small steps – when we reduce the intake of things that are not of God, and when we taste and see that the Lord is good. If we are snacking on the world, we will be too full for the banquet of God!
Hunger - Part 2: Fasting - A Cry for the Bridegroom: ( Stream | Download ) Fasting is not about health benefits, or “what’s in it for me” – it’s a cry for the return of the Bridegroom. Fasting is about absence. The absence of fasting is an indicator of our contentment with the absence of Christ.
Hunger Part 3: Fasting - What is Your Motive?: ( Stream | Download ) The motive of fasting determines the reward of fasting – the reward is either a response from man or a response from God. It’s not the act of fasting that “magically” creates a change – people can fast, and do so systematically and religiously, with no effect! The authentic Christian does not perform religious duties for the praise of others, but prays and fasts in a secret place of intimacy with God – receiving a reward from God, not man, and living refreshed in intimacy with God.
- Perfect Peace
Perfect Peace - Part 1: How to Live in Perfect Peace: ( Stream | Download ) Where we set our mind is essential to living in perfect peace – to be kept in perfect peace, our mind must be stayed on Christ (Isaiah 26:3-4). We have been awarded perfect peace in Christ; but we must fight to live in a perpetual peace. Those that trust in God must have their minds stayed upon him, must trust him at all times, under all events, must firmly and faithfully adhere to him, with an entire satisfaction in him; and such as do so God will keep in perpetual peace, and that peace shall keep them.
Perfect Peace - Part 2: Peace on Fire Part 1: ( Stream | Download ) Jesus didn’t come to bring international peace or even interpersonal peace – the peace of God divides and consumes every source of earthly peace that is not Him (Luke 12:49-51). Jesus came to bring peace with God and to call man to live in radical devotion to their Heavenly Father. Jesus is the only true source of peace!
Perfect Peace - Part 3: Peace on Fire Part 2: ( Stream | Download ) Jesus didn’t come to bring international peace or even interpersonal peace – the peace of God divides and consumes every source of earthly peace that is not Him (Luke 12:49-51). Jesus came to bring peace with God and to call man to live in radical devotion to their Heavenly Father. Jesus is the only true source of peace!
Perfect Peace - Part 4: Prince of Peace: ( Stream | Download ) Jesus is the Prince of Peace – therefore we have (1) peace with God, (2) the peace of God, and (3) the God of peace. Jesus came to be the perfect source of peace between God and man; he gives us peace; and he himself is our peace. (Romans 5:1, John 14:27, Ephesians 2:14)
- Redeeming Righteous Indignation
Unrighteous, fleshly anger leads to sin, gets you into trouble and you'll need to repent. Righteous anger responds to sin and needs no repentance; it is not sin but is a response to sin from God's own character through you. 1. Redeeming Righteous Indignation - Part 1: ( Stream | Download ) Indignation is defined as “anger caused by something that is unjust or wrong.” Righteous indignation is the anger which is an expression of God’s righteousness – anger caused by something that is sinful or evil. Not all anger is bad. Anger is an appropriate response to the futility of sinfulness and blatant evil. Anger is not a flaw in the human condition which must be muted or uprooted – at times, anger is a necessary response and is required of us by God. However, God is slow to anger, and our response is not to be the anger of the flesh, but righteous indignation through our relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Redeeming Righteous Indignation - Part 2: ( Stream | Download ) Many examples can be found in the Old Testament of God’s righteous indignation towards Israel (Ex. 22:21-24, Ex. 32:10, Deut. 6:14-15, Num. 11:1,10), and in the New Testament of Jesus’ righteous indignation towards the Pharisees (Mark 3:1-6, John 2:13-22, Matt. 23, Matt. 16:23). Our responsibility is to move closer to Jesus and to let God’s response flow through us.
3. Redeeming Righteous indignation - Part 3: ( Stream | Download ) There are three ways to participate in redeeming righteous indignation and bringing God’s kingdom here to the earth – living obediently, living justly, and living passionately.
- Imago Dei
1. Made In The Image Of God - Part 1 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) We are made in the image of God. Genesis 2:7 says, "Then God formed man of the dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being."
2. Made in the Image of God - Part 2 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) Man is a material, immaterial unity and man was originally made good in the material and immaterial unity. However, sin ruined the image of God in man beyond recognition but God regenerates His image in us through the work of Christ when a person is saved.
3. Made in the Image of God - Part 3 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) There are two veils. To live unveiled means to accurately reflect the image of God to others and to accurately behold the image of God ourselves. Beholding we reflect and reflecting we behold the image of God.
4. Made in the Image of God - Part 4 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) The Mind of Christ - Part 1: "We can access the thoughts of God." The challenge is to not continue in old ways of thinking; to not see people outwardly and make judgements, but to see what God sees. In 1 Corinthians 2:16, Paul says that we have the mind of Christ, and through the Spirit we can have the thoughts of God in whatever situation we find ourselves in.
5. Made in the Image of God - Part 5 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) The Mind of Christ - Part 2: "How to pray with the mind of Christ" 1. Set your heart and mind on things above. 2. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. 3. Listen with your heart.
6. A Child of God - Part 1: ( Stream | Download ) We are born of water and the Spirit to be conformed into the image of Jesus. We are born of God and therefore are called children of God and are co-heirs with Christ.
7. A Child of God - Part 2: ( Stream | Download ) Is every human being a child of God? This teaching examines 3 points in what it means to be a child of God. 1. The special privilege of being called the children of God. ( I John 3). Humanity in the image of God verses a child of God reborn in His image (Gen. 5:1-3). 2. A special proof of being a Child of God – the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:16-17). 3. A special perseverance- A patient, enduring resolve to advance amidst adversity. (2 Thess. 3:5; James 5:10-11)
8. Meta-Narrative Framework: ( Stream | Download )
9. What is an Idol?: ( Stream | Download )

- Signs of the Times
Signs of the Times - Part 1: ( Stream | Download ) The purpose of this study is not to determine specific times or dates of the end. However, this study should create a watchfulness and a healthy expectation rather than fear. It examines the words of Jesus to His disciples when they asked, "Tell us, when will these things be?"
Signs of the Times - Part 2: ( Stream | Download ) We look again at the seven deceptions Jesus talked about when the disciples asked Him what signs to look for. It is important to note that Jesus told them to watch and be on guard so they would not be deceived rather than giving them a specific answer regarding timing.
Signs of the Times - Part 3: ( Stream | Download ) Both Nehemiah and Daniel interpreted the word of God; Daniel via a timeline, Nehemiah through a stirring of his heart by God. God was moving both men according to His timeline. Nehemiah was participating in the fulfillment of the end times prophecy of Daniel and it seems that he was unaware. He was just living in a watchful and obedient state. Simply Keeping our eyes and gaze fixed on Jesus is okay. Exact timings will be revealed as our gaze is concentrated on Him.
Signs of the Times - Part 4: ( Stream | Download ) There are two kinds of watching in Matthew 24 - 25. The first watch out was against the increasing deceptions of the end times. Now there is a switch to a different kind of of watching, an expectation…not on guard against evil only; but also waiting expectantly…staining to see…looking intently and with strong desire for the coming LORD.
- The Great Unfolding
The Great Unfolding - Part 1: ( Stream | Download ) Is there a gap in your life between what is and what could be? Sometimes God stirs our hearts so He can move our feet. Sometimes He stirs our hearts so He can make our hands useful for Him.
The Great Unfolding - Part 2: ( Stream | Download ) Oswald Chambers said, "God never gives us discernment in order that we may criticize, but that we may intercede." Sometimes closing the gap between what is and what could be, becomes God's plan for our life.
The Great Unfolding - Part 3: ( Stream | Download ) Nehemiah knew when to pray and when to act. How do you in your life know when to pray and when to act? How do you know the amount of praying you should do and when you should stop praying and begin to act? When is God saying, "Move NOW"?
The Great Unfolding - Part 4: ( Stream | Download ) When we begin to move to close gaps in our lives there are always enemies that resist the work of closing those gaps. They resist closing the gaps because they have access as long as the gap remains open. They can orchestrate attacks through other people, thoughts, emotions, etc.
The Great Unfolding - Part 5: ( Stream | Download ) As you begin to close the gaps in your life don't let what's wrong with you keep you from what’s right with God. Remember that amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic. Don’t be afraid to try something new or step out into God.
- God Is Love - Ben Stoffel ( Stream | Download )
During this quiet night, in a small manger in the town of Bethlehem, our LORD and SAVIOR was sent from a LOVING FATHER.
- Weapons Of Mass Destruction
WMD - Part 1 - Faith In Jesus' Authority: ( Stream | Download ) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authoirities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
WMD - Part 2 - The Word Of God: ( Stream | Download ) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authoirities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
WMD - Part 3 - Freedom Fighter: ( Stream | Download ) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authoirities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

- Faithful Stewardship
Faithful Stewardship - Part I: ( Stream | Download ) As Christians we benefit immensely from the Presence, Protection and Provision of God. As we ask God for an increase in these areas, what are the top 3 ways to be faithful stewards of the Presence, Protection and Provision of God that we are experiencing right now? We must be increasingly faithful with what we have if we are to expect that God will entrust us with more.
Faithful Stewardship - Part 2: ( Stream | Download ) How a Christian can faithfully steward the presence, protection and provision of God by practicing a deeper level of dependency on God and living out an increasing commitment to spiritual disciplines.
- I Surrender
Surrender I - Raise the White Flag: ( Stream | Download ) One of the most common lies that Satan uses to trap people from experiencing all that God has for them is: “If I surrender to God, I will experience loss or be unfulfilled in my life.” This could not be further from the truth: “Nothing surrendered to God is ever wasted or left unrewarded.” Am I full of truth and easily surrender to God in every area of my life? Not surrendering the temporary is surrendering the eternal. As the white flag of surrender is raised to God in every area of my life, He will cause His kingdom to increase through every area of my life.
Surrender II - Hate the Way You Lie: ( Stream | Download ) Lies appeal to our un-surrendered flesh. Satan targets areas of our life that are not quite fully surrendered and he lies about the reality of the situation. Each lie is like planting a seed in our hearts, if the evil seed takes root and grows it has the capacity to stop us from growing in God. In the parable of the sower, Jesus tells a story about seed that is spread over four types of soil. The third type is thorny soil. This allows weeds to grow up with the plant and keep it from reproducing life. It doesn’t kill the plant, just keeps it from growing and maturing - no fruit. However, when we surrender that area or thing in our life to God, he will cause it to grow and be fruitful. (John 12:24-25)
- Thirsty? ( Stream | Download )
From the 42nd Psalm, we see that our soul can be thirsty for God. Am I thirsty for more of God?
- Legacy
Legacy - The Gift of Spiritual Mothers: ( Stream | Download ) We are blessed at Living Faith with wonderful mothers and spiritual mothers. As we celebrate the gift of our spiritual mothers, we remember a spiritual mother of nations and kings, Sarah. Abraham and Sarah waited 25 years for their promise to be fulfilled. During that time Sarah’s faith was tested and she found strength to believe God that he could do the impossible. Her cynical laughter of was changed to a laughter of joy. Once she held on only to faith; later she held her promised son. Be encouraged, God is faithful to fulfill his promises!
Legacy - Future Generations: ( Stream | Download ) God’s promise to Abraham announced the gospel to biological and spiritual children of Abraham. God plans and challenges us to plan with future generations in sight.
Legacy - Who am I?: ( Stream | Download ) In Exodus chapter 3, Moses encountered the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. In response to God’s vision for Moses’ life, Moses discounted himself by saying, “who am I?”. God responded by saying, “I AM that IAM”. It wasn’t about who Moses was, but rather who was God. It’s not our past that qualifies or disqualifies us, it’s about the great I AM, our Heavenly Father. God is calling us to move forward with the visions he has put on our hearts, not based on who we are, but based on who he is forever.
Legacy - The Shema - Love God and Reveal Him to the Next Generation: ( Stream | Download ) In Deuteronomy, Moses is seen addressing the future generation before they cross the Jordan to inherit the promise land. He emphasized the need to love the Lord with all of their hearts and to teach their children to love and obey Him. The challenge today is to continue to carry out these two points: love God and reveal him to the next generation.
Legacy - Embrace the Mandate: ( Stream | Download ) In Judges 2:10, we see that the generation after Joshua did not walk with the Lord. How could this be? The children of Israel had seen such mighty displays of God’s power and Moses specifically directed the people to diligently teach their children. How could two generations after Moses be so distant from God? Today, we must learn from this disobedience and take seriously the mandate to reveal God to the next generation.
- Diligence
Diligence - Part 1 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) Diligence is a learnable skill, but its probably not what you think. In Proverbs, we see clear rewards of true diligence and also clear consequences for a lack of diligence in any area of our lives. Biblical principles define diligence, and these spiritual truths govern our lives whether we acknowledge them or not! In order to live a life of excellence, we need to become diligent.
Diligence - Part 2 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) Sometimes the sufferings in our lives come as consequences for our actions and/or the lack of us taking action! Not all suffering is absolutely necessary; in fact, some should be avoided entirely! A wise person will become diligent in minimizing unnecessary sufferings.
- Life on Purpose - Godipulation
Life on Purpose - Godipulation Part 1 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) Godipulation: God is in control. God is calling us to "Come to Him". God is calling us to rest in Him.
Life on Purpose - Godipulation Part 2 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) Its time to let go of the things that are keeping us from coming to God for rest and renewal. Put first things first, then you will be free to live life on purpose!"
Life on Purpose - Godipulation Part 3 - Ben Stoffel: ( Stream | Download ) Three benefits of having vision in life. The importance of changing our place and changing our pace so that we can change our perspective. In Matthew 17 (The Transfiguration), Jesus invited Peter, James and John to change their place (climb a high mountain) and change their pace (alone with Jesus). Something happened on the top of the mountain that changed their perspective of Jesus forever.
- The Deity of Christ - Let Us Draw Near - Ben Stoffel ( Stream | Download )
This message starts by a “zoomed-in” look at one verse, Hebrews 10:22, where we are challenged to draw near to God. To gain a better understanding of that challenge, we “zoom” out to the broad teaching that Jesus is fully God. From this viewpoint, we see that because Jesus is fully God, the blood of Jesus is infinitely holy. With this understanding we can now “zoom” back in to Hebrews 10:19-22 and understand the verse in a new context: as the perfect blood of Jesus is applied to every area of my imperfect life, then I am completely clean and free from accusation before God. Therefore, I can draw near to God!!!
- The Humanity of Christ: Interacting with God in Times of Crisis - Ben Stoff ( Stream | Download )
Jesus was fully God and fully man. In his humanity he suffered and cried out to God for help. We can learn two things from this: God loves us intensely and it’s okay to ask God for help when we are in times of Crisis
- Shine - From The Inside Out ( Stream | Download )
Even though the Christian is the light of the world, he does not make his own light. The light we see from the Christian is actually the light of Jesus that is reflected from the times the Christian beholds the glorious light of Jesus.
- Follow Me As I Follow Christ ( Stream | Download )
We can follow only one voice. How many different things in life are calling after us, saying, "Follow Me?"
- A Touch of Faith: Reaching out for Healing ( Stream | Download )
A woman with a flow of blood, for twelve years, reached out and touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. Exploring her condition reveals that she received more than physical healing that day. Many people brushed up against Jesus, but this woman reached out in faith to him and received power and restoration, and Jesus said, “Who touched me?” As we reach out to touch Jesus, we simultaneously let go of our control of the condition, situation or circumstance.
- Stepping Into Light - Ben Stoffel ( Stream | Download )
This is the challenge for us: To bring the wholeness of who we are into the light of who He is. Just step into the light with all of who you are and don't hold anything back from Him shining His light on all of you.
- Praise The Godly Woman - Ben Stoffel ( Stream | Download )
We need to afirm that women are made in the image of God just as much as men are. We will neither be male chauvinists nor neo-femnists; we are not going one way or the other. We are affirming that women are made in the image of God equal as man is made in the image of God.
