We are in a time of Renaissance concerning leader development. We know that our traditional methods do not work well and the lack of healthy leaders in the church, particularly in areas of rapid church growth around the world, is fast becoming a crisis. But what are the alternatives? This course presents an alternative, a paradigm shift. It is biblically-based and holistic, focusing on how Jesus built his disciples as captured by the teaching found in Malcolm Webber's books on leaders and leader development. This is not a boring, lecture-driven course. It is a collage of learning opportunities that will both teach and use the principles of our models.

By the end of the course, the participants will have:

• Appraised their own development as a leader in view of how Jesus built leaders.
• Reviewed the 5C Model of healthy leadership and evaluated their own lives and ministries in light of this model.
• Examined the 18 principles of building leaders and evaluated their own strategies for building leaders in light of this model.
• Established a plan of improvement for their own leadership development strategies.

Existing and emerging leaders in the church, business, education and government who desire to be more effective in leadership development should attend. Because we have designed a highly interactive experience, participants learn from each other. To ensure quality learning, capacity is limited.
