Centrality of Christ
Christian leadership must be built on and in union with the Person of Jesus Christ. Our work begins and ends with Jesus!
Local Leadership
We operate within and focus on the context and needs of indigenous front-line leaders. We seek to understand and serve what God is already doing in the nations.
Life Transformation
Our goal is holistic transformation in the lives of the leaders we serve. We build healthy leaders who go on to build healthy churches!
Our Mission
To catalyze and strengthen indigenous movements of healthy leader development and care, and thereby accelerate church planting and disciple-making, especially among the least served.
Our Work
LeaderSource work is characterized by high levels of indigenous ownership and depth of true contextualization. We work with indigenous leaders in the following ways.
Pray
We pray for leaders and churches in the nations, asking God to birth a work of deep change and crying out to Him to raise up healthy leaders and healthy churches across the nations.

Train
We are teachers. We train leaders on the core principles and practices of healthy leader development. We do not just give them a particular curriculum or preplanned leader development “package” but instead help them to internalize the fundamental biblical principles of holistic leader development.

Network
We are networkers. We help them network with leaders from other ministries and church planting movements who are wrestling with the same issues – for mutual learning, collaboration, encouragement and leader care. We also network with other ministries who share a similar vision and who serve the national churches.

Our History
Our work started small in 1985, with a team of Christ-followers passionately seeking to obey His call to the nations.
Now, after over three decades of leader development experience in over 100 nations, we are looking to the future with that same vision. Our history is a testimony to God’s favor and leading in our work!
