L3 - How God Views the Generations - 12-03-2017: ( Stream | Download ) We are so different from God. God is self-existent - we're totally dependent. God is infinite - we're small and weak. God is eternal - we're here for a moment. And His perspective about the generations is different from ours. God has been working with man from the beginning and everything now is connected to everything that has gone before us. Moreover, everything now is preparation for what is coming after us. God's work is not just about you here in this moment. It's about those who have gone before you - your spiritual mothers and fathers, back for generations - who prayed and labored and wept. And everything we do now is not just for us and our generation. Everything now is preparation for the generations to come. This is how we need to think!
L4 - Our Deep Connection with the Generations - 01-14-2018: ( Stream | Download ) Jesus did not see His own life and ministry in a vacuum. He understood where His own ministry fit within the context of the previous leaders God had sent, and He recognized and honored those who had gone before Him. Jesus respected the past, honored the past and built on the past. And then, in everything He did, He prepared for the future. Next generation: honor the past. Honor your spiritual mothers and fathers. Build on what they have done. Don't disregard it. If you honor the past, you unlock the future!
L5 - Three Generations Working Together - 09-02-2018: ( Stream | Download ) In 1 John 2:12-14, God speaks of three distinct generations in the church. This teaching looks at the responsibilities and needs of each of them. In a healthy church, all three generations will work together well, providing a clear path of generational succession.
- Our Leaders Need Our Care
L 1 - Our Leaders Need Our Care: ( Stream | Download ) Our leaders need our care! This includes our leaders in every area of life and relationships: leaders in the family, in the marriage, at the workplace, and every leader in the church. This is a new idea for many, perhaps most, of us. We are used to thinking of ourselves as the ones who need the care and our leaders as the ones who need to think of us, care for us, protect us and provide for us. Of course, that is appropriate, but, biblically, we also need to be caring for them. They are not perfect, they are not "Super People." They actually need our care. So, let's see what the Bible has to say about this very important truth.
L 2 - How To Care For Our Leaders: ( Stream | Download ) The New Testament gives us profound examples of how to care for our leaders. There are at least six specific areas in which we must practice leader care.

A study of the 4Ds and the 18 principles of healthy leader development.
- ConneXions Alive
"ConneXions Alive" is a local church implementation of our ConneXions model of leader development. The vision is for "people building" - that every member of the church would know how to build others and that there would be pervasive "people-building" in every ministry, family, business and relationship. This is the vision of Ephesians 4:16 - "From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." This is a healthy body - one in which every member is growing, serving and building others. ConneXions Alive is an organizational culture of "lifestyle people-building" in the local church.
